Mr. Ravinder Singh serves as the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore.

He previously served as the Group COO (Technology and Innovation) ST Engg and President of Defence & Public Security, ST Engg,  where he lead the Group’s businesses across Digital Systems, Cyber, Land Systems, Marine and Defence Aerospace, driving the development of products and solutions for Defence, Public Safety and Security, and Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) customers. Prior to that he served as President of ST Engineering Electronics and President of the Group’s Land Systems business. Mr Ravinder Singh is Senior Adviser to ST Engineering.

Before Mr Singh joined ST Engineering, he was with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), where he last served as Chief of Army. Prior to that, he was Deputy Secretary (Technology) in the Ministry of Defence. 

He is Deputy Chairman of  Strides Technology Pte Ltd and Director of CSE Global. He a member of  the Board of HTX (Home Team Science and Technology Agency) as well as the Defence Science Organisation( DSO) National Laboratories. Member of  the Independent Review Panel of Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore and the Data Protection Appeal Panel for Ministry for Communications and Information Singapore.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering Science (First Class Honours) and a Master of Arts in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford. Master of Science in Management from Sloan School, MIT. Attended the US Command and General Staff School in Kansas, USA and also the Advance Management Program at the Wharton Business School.
