MUSCAT: South Korea is hosting a key hydrogen forum in Muscat on December 12, 2023 that seeks to capitalize on commitments by a number of Korean firms to participate in Oman’s massive green hydrogen production industry.

Muscat: The Government of Oman, Hydrogen Oman (Hydrom), Port of Amsterdam, Zenith Energy Terminals and GasLog have agreed to study the feasibility of a liquid hydrogen supply chain, to deliver Omani green hydrogen to the Port of Amsterdam and onwards to Europe.

Muscat: Oman has significant potential to channel its deep expertise in the production of fossil fuels towards clean energy projects that could accelerate the country’s efforts to lower its emissions and diversify its economy, according to a new report.

Dubai: The Sultanate of Oman took part in the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 28) in Dubai on Friday. Oman’s delegation in the conference is headed by Eng Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals.
