Dr. Nicholas Koh, Executive Chairman of TFIW, delivered a keynote speech titled “Building a Sustainable Deep Ocean Water Industrial Park (DOWIP) Outside of the “Ring of Fire”.

Representing TFIW, Dr. Koh explored the significant potential of deep ocean water (DOW) as a sustainable solution for addressing key challenges in the Middle East, such as water scarcity and energy demands. His presentation delved into innovative applications of DOW in areas like desalination, renewable cooling systems, and agricultural development, highlighting how these technologies could support the region’s sustainability goals.

TFIW further strengthened its commitment to innovation and global collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Taiwan Society of Deep Ocean Water Resource Application. This marks the beginning of a partnership focused on future collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of deep ocean water (DOW) applications.

Dr. Nicholas Koh presented copies of his self-authored book to several distinguished organizers and keynote speakers.

Industry participants also showcased a variety of innovative products during the exhibition, emphasizing advancements in sustainable marine resource utilization and fostering collaboration across the region.
